Are you using IPV6? no
Is the issue reproducible? yes

Everytime that i log into SABnzbr+ i end up having to change the port number, for some reason it will not accept the same port two times in a row.  Thanks

Are you opening the program over and over from your desktop shortcut?
Maybe SAB itself can check during startup whether it's already running, for example by looking at the process table or by connecting to the port should run on. Or has this already been implemented in 0.5.0 Alpha?

You should only be doing that once. Once SABnzbd is started it will continue to run in the background. Closing your web browser does not close SABnzbd.

Do as pairofdimes says and bookmark the sabnzbd page, and use that bookmark to access sabnzbd once it has been launched initially.
