Possible to use the RSS utilty as just a reader?

Not sure where to post this so i hope its ok here
I was looking for an RSS reader utility that will just build an aggregated list of items from indexers into a single pane for me to browse and choose to dl items i want. I have some automation setup for things i know i want to dl, but i usually find myself browsing certain categories on each indexer's site in the morning to see what was released.
I found the rss feed reader in SAB but quickly realized it appears to just be for auto dl'ing based upon the filters.
Is it possible in sab to:
1. Get the different feeds in to a single pane of glass for cross-indexer browsing ? Im guessing no...
2. Possible to make sab not auto-dl? I figured out if i uncheck the feed on main rss page it doesnt dl but i can still browse the results of my filter options by click the link for the feed. This will at least get me by for now...
3. Possible to "store" say like 3 days of results in a db or something in case i miss a day or two?
Im sure this is using the application in an un-intended manner but i cant seem to find an alternate app that does this which will provide a "download" button to send to sab very easily.
If anyone know of something else please let me know i will check it out. Im thinking i would need a "man in the middle" app to read the feeds and then aggregate them into one feed for presenting to sab for a single pane?
Any hopes of implementing something like this is the future? Sure saves time browsing a couple different sites which some can be painfully slow at times.
