SAB Throughput Issue

Hello all,

New to community but been using SAB on my QNAP for about a year and a half. I recently upgraded my home internet from 50 Mbps to 101 Mbps download. I noticed SAB was still topping out around 50 Mbps and not using all the available bandwidth. Other devices on my network can consume it no problem and the QNAP is connected to the router with a gigabit ethernet connection. I tried the things in the help section of the site like modifying connection count and article cache but nothing changes the max speed. I also confirmed no max speed is defined. Also not seeing any CPU spike (Python using about 30% CPU) or disk.

Last night I tried to set up nzbget on the same QNAP and observed that nzbget can max out my internet connection no problem. I really do like SAB and its features so I'd really like to find out where the bottleneck is and fix it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

What version of Sabnzbd are you using? 1.0.x Or 1.1.x? Can see that in the first Config page.
Soon (within a week) we will release 1.1.0 which has some improvements in speed!
Did you have ssl enabled for your Newsserver?

I'm running 1.0.3 latest stable release and using SSL with newsgroup provider. I did try two different ports and URLs but no changes.
