SQL error - driving me mad

Hi all,

I am trying to set up an indexer and am banging my head against the wall. No matter what I do (and I have ready a good few help sites without any joy) i am constantly getting

Checking for mysql_connect():
The PHP installation lacks support for MySQL(mysql_connect).

I have ready a couple of sites that say I need to removes comments form an ini file but note of them say waht ini file and what comments.
Could some king soul please point me in the right direction?

SABnzbd does not use PHP nor MySQL. So the above are not SABnzbd messages. And as this is a SABnzbd forum, you won't find much help here.
