Pausing downloads without stopping pars etc

Does pausing stop the par and rar of sabnzbd? I have something like 15 already downloaded items that are in queue with no sign of a start. Items have been downloaded 2-3 days now. Any solution for forcing the decoding?

Pausing only influences the downloading.
Does a restart of SABnzbd resume post processing?
It could be that one of the external processes holds the post processing queue up.

Sorry for late reply. No.. unfortunately it doesnt. I did a restart and lost all the queued downloads

Had to redownload everything again. Now i've set it to pause downloads whilst processing and for now, it seems to have done the trick however if the processing takes an hr, then the bandwidth is free for that hour.
Dunno but maybe a way for 'force' processing would be good. i know.. sorry for all the suggestions. Just giving feedback.

We're not very happy with the way post-processing is handled now.
Only it will take a lot of reworking of existing code and for most
people it already works without much problems.
Right now our priority is to get all the improvements in 0.5.0 out the door.
Which is challenging enough.
Post processing will be tackled some day, but don't ask for a date.

No worries. Do what you think best works. Nobody expects you work miracles esp since ur not paid for it. Many thanks for a brilliant job so far to the team!

I've found that sometimes my post-processing stops for some reason and a restart of sab always brings it back into life without losing the queue. I think you were just unlucky...
