How do I set up a backup/block server?
I'm trying to setup a backup/block server and can't figure out how to properly do so. I've added my block server and can download from it just fine, but not as a backup. Even if I set the priority to 100 on it, it still downloads all the time just at a slower rate. Is there a way to set a server up to be used as a backup only? I've seen older posts with a check box with backup in it, but it's not in SAB anymore. I've googled and searched the forum but can't find a concise answer. Thanks.
Re: How do I set up a backup/block server?
Servers that have a higher priority number than others are backup servers.
If you have server A with prio 1 and server B with prio 100, server B will only be used
as a backup server, only used when A doesn't have an article.
Speed is independent, although a backup server must wait for the high prio server to refuse articles.
