Trouble connecting to SAB from outside sources

This all started when I wanted to configure the NZB360 Android app for Couchpotato, Sonarr and SABnzbd. I was able to get CP and Sonarr to connect on my local network but never SAB. But then I started thinking I wanted to get them to connect from outside my network, via app or another PC. Well again, CP and Sonarr can connect but not SAB. I have opened my ports as I should but SAB is still having issues. What is also strange is I cannot connect to SAB on my local network unless I use 'localhost' rather than my IP.

Is there something special for SAB I am missing. I had friend who understands the setup better than me help with my connections and he is stumped. I am almost inclined to move back to NZBGet.

Thanks in advance.

I'm not aware of any issues here.
Localhost will not enable access within your local network, unless you have a very weird DNS setup.
You should be using either 0.0.0.0 or the local (fixed) IP address.
External access requires proper port forwarding by your router.

Which version of SABnzbd are you using?

I just came here to say I resolved it. It was the 'Host' setting, I had set to localhost and when I changed it to 0.0.0.0 it now works from outside PC's and Apps.
