As I use automation, I sometimes have an nzb added before the articles are fully propagated to my providers. Occasionally I can simply hit the 'retry' link, sab will grab some new par2 files or something like that, and complete the download. More often however it fails almost immediately without retrying to download anything.
Is there a way to force it to retry downloading missing articles?

Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
Use Test Server in Config > Servers.

No, but in version 1.1.0 there will be the option for a Propagation delay.
So you can specify that posts should at least be a certain age in minutes before SABnzbd tries to download them. This should solve your problem
