Web Interface - can't connect ...

Strange thing is going on ... never had this problem before.

I'm running version 1.0 - SABNZBD has been flawless on my system. This morning I noticed that I can't connect either from the local machine (Windows 7) nor from any other PC on the network, or via outside my LAN.

it's appears to be running, the log seems to be normal ..

yet I can't connect via the web interface - even my Chrome extension seems happy?

what can I check ?

(edit) I've rebooted, restarted, even ran the setup to re-install nothing has changed.

Do you use http://127.0.0.1:8080/sabnzbd in your webbrowser? Did you try differenct webbrowsers? What is the exact message?

yes I tried that address, as well as the actual IP of that box.

it just goes on forever and never connects times out. I never get my username password prompt either...

edit - yes tried 3 different PCs as well as the local machine

Do you have some other software firewall than the standard Windows firewall installed?

no;

however I just realized what may be causing the trouble... my Synology DS - has faulted and is no longer accessible to SABNZBD -- it states that the hard disks are not found. Most if not ALL of my directory/folders point to that NAS in my configuration.

Would that be causing my trouble? if so can I edit the .ini file to change the path info to get SABNZBD back up so I can reconfigure it?

Yes, you can edit the INI filed directly, as long as SABnzbd isn't running.
