I've recently updated to the latest version and have had to re configure sabnzbd and all the tests work in the configuration menu just fine.

However when I add an NZB the file will show up in the queue but will never start downloading or show any errors.

I've tried reinstalling, changing the api key for the chrome extension, deleting and re-adding the nzb.

Nothing seems to work. I've tried with multiple nzbs too.

I've use Sabnzbd for years now with no problems until now.

Which skin do you use?
Does the queue have actual NZBs or just attempts to get an NZB from an indexer?
Are your server settings still OK.
Isn't SABnzbd paused?
Are individual items paused?
What do you see on the Status page, Connections tab?

SABnzbd is not paused. I've tried pausing and unpausing several times.
Individual items are not paused.S

That last bit looks odd.

Status page showed everything as ok.

Can you check in the server settings that you have selected the Default category for your server?

It is the default category.

Well. I solved this problem by completely uninstalling sabnzbd with Revo Uninstaller and then reinstalling and reconfiguring it.

Hi, I have pretty much exactly this issue, but not with everything.

Currently have SAB 1.0 installed with CouchPotato 3.0.1 and SickBeard 507.

Any show picked up by SickBeard works perfectly. Any movie picked up CouchPotato will show in SAB, but just simply not download.

It doesn't time out, it doesn't throw any errors, it doesn't show as paused and the number of connections shows as 0.
The same can be reproduced if I manually add the same nzb manually as well as a different nzb.

Can't see any sign of an issue in the logs.

Can anyone suggest what I can do?

Problem solved!
One of the SAB devs replied on Reddit.

Server was set to the SickBeard category only (not something I did intentionally, or at all from memory for that matter). But setting it to all categories fixed the problem.
