I can DL no problem with my MacPro but on my MacBook, the dl names appear but actual DL will not start and remain in the waiting list
I quit the app on my MacPro in case I could not DL from 2 different computer simultaneously but still will not work
any idea ?

Did you define servers?
Has at least one server the "Default" category?
Is SABnzbd not paused?
Do you have multiple network adapters active (like wired and WiFi)?
Look at the log file (under Status).
