Server load balancing

So how does this work? I have a newshosting account and not sure if this setting would have any effect to speeds. I know for a fact that newshosting does offer different servers in different regions and have different FQDNS. Should I add all of them to my server list for server load balancing to work or what?

It only works for a server that associates multiple IP-addresses to a single DNS name.
Many providers use different DNS names for different regions.

You can still have multiple server definitions at the same priority level.
SABnzbd will attempt to do some balancing there too (as it did before).

Oh gotcha.

But is there an advantage of load balacning between different servers with the same priority level? I mean, it's not like I'm bombarding one server with requests. I only have 30 connections with them simultaneously.

Likely not, but not all Usenet services are created equal.
