Hey everyone. I am so new to this... i just got a year subscription of usenetserver.com with the vpn and have almost everything setup.

BUT I need help.

I have sabnzbd setup but my connections are slow. I have ssl usenet setup and so far couchpotato kind of running, but not really.


If SOMEONE can help me get this thing setup tomorrow, i'll be happy to donate a few bucks or some snow your way. I thought i was supposed to get some speed from this, but im so confused.

First read http://wiki.sabnzbd.org/faq#toc31 So please note the difference between MB/s and Mbps.

Then answer these questions:
- what SABnzbd speed do you get? [MB/s]
- what is the speed of the Usenetserver plan you bought [Mbps]
- what is the speed of your Internet connection: what does http://www.speedtest.net/ report? [Mbps]
- on what hardware is SABnzbd running (CPU, RAM), with Wifi or wired?

i havent been getting any now because "i have too many connections." But i have seen some of my finished downloads say 6 MB/s which is good.

internet connection . speed test : 57 mbps download 60 mbps upload

I am running this in my 13 in macbook pr0 2014. I will update with more info as i get them.

But a few of my downloads give me errors like it cant unpack.... not enough repair blocks... etc.

i guess so. it still confuses the heck out of my. for instance . I am trying to use couchpotato. I find some movies and i guess it looks for the files.... and sometimes sabnzbd will find them. But once they start, a lot of them are giving me errors like cant unpack.... etc
