Sabnzbd slowdown when qbittorrent is running.

I've recently set up qbittorrent to use as an alternative downloader and have found an issue that causes Sab to slow down considerably whenever Qbittorrent is running.
Watching the WAN connection on my router, if I'm downloading a file in Sab, I will be maxed out at my 100mb Internet connection. However, when I launch qbittorrent, the WAN throughput drops to around 30% of what it should be.
I've tried adjusting the max connections and rate meters within Qbittorrent and have found no change. As soon as I exit it, however, the WAN throughput shoots right back up to where it should be.
Both pieces of software are running on the same Win 7 machine.
Anyone ever encounter this issue?
