No Connection (another!)

Post by managerx »

Hi All - I have been using sabnzbd for a while and have generally never had a problem I couldn't sort out - entre new computer and new set-up and I am puzzled.

So I have installed the new version of sabnzbd (0.4.8) and the newest version of firefox (3.08) and set it up on my new mac running 10.5.6 - initially it worked, I had it configured with my newhosting and was having no problems downloading.  Then after a restart my I get the "failed to connect" message.  I tried everything, un-install, checked for updates, went from wireless to ethernet, tried the alternate, http://127.0.0.1:8080/sabnzbd and http://[::1]:8080/sabnzbd - but nothing worked.  I am at wits end with this and would appreciate any suggestions!

Thanks in advance!  Below is my configurations:

Version: 0.4.8
OS: OSX 10.5.6
Install-type: ??? not sure, just downloaded of the sabnzbd site...up-packed and dragged to app section
Skin N/A
Firewall Software: Airport Extreme - built in, non config
Are you using IPV6? no
Is the issue reproducible? yes (!)

Rename sabnzbd.ini and re-launch the program and let it create a new one, should work again.
