0.4.8 - "Insufficient resources" + "Thread x failed to initialise"

I'm having a really strange and frustrating problem.  I'm using 0.4.8 on the Windows 7 beta buld 7077 and when I leave sabnzbd downloading for a while, after a couple of hours my entire PC slows right down to a crawl.  Attempting to start task manager, open a windows explorer window or perform any task at all merely leads to a message appearing saying "insufficent resources exist to complete the requested service".

The webUI for sabnzbd also looks odd.  In plush, the queue disappears, The black bar with "QUEUE" written inside sits directly above the black bar saying "HISTORY".  I can't take a screenshot because of the "insufficient resources" problem.

So far we have no experience with Windows 7.
Nobody of the team has access to it, so we cannot test anything.
Could be anything: Win7 itself, drivers, the Python interpreter one of our many third-party libraries.

I'm getting this exact same problem in build 7100 (RC1). Memory usage maxes out and the system is unresponsive after a few hours, giving the same errors as above. The sabnzbd process doesn't show the extra memory usage in task manager, it shows it using its normal 30-60mb.

This sounds like an issue I'm having on W7 7201. I'm experiencing the system slowdown and memory hogging, although it seems to handle itself much better when I'm using the computer. I usually leave my PC on over night if I want to download anything and 2 nights in a row the PC has frozen not allowing me to start task manager to see what's the cause or start any other piece of software.

The freeze is so severe that a few nights ago it caused my RAID to fail with data corruption (windows disk checker at boot decided to delete all corrupted blocks). It ran disk verification on my OS Drive this morning after rebooting from the freeze.

Would post logs but I continued the downloads after the reboot and have only found this thread now.

You guys run SABnzbd in the usual way?
I mean, not as a service?
I got my Win7-RC system up, so I can do some stress testing now.

BTW: I'm not planning on putting much effort into 0.4.x
By the time Win7 is out, we will have released 0.5.0.
