No connection

Post by sphaas »

Version: 0.4.8 Final
OS: Windows XP
Install-type: Windows Installer
Skin Plush
Firewall Software: XP SP2 Firewall or Norton Internet Security (I'm not sure)
Are you using IPV6???????
Is the issue reproducible? yes

I completed all of the configuration detail per the instructions in wikidot.  I have a "no connections message" showing.  I asked for 8 connections, but the message is a single sentence.

Thanks in advance.

Do you have any nzb's in your queue?
Are there any warnings on the connection page, if so what do they say?
Who is your usenet provider that you entered details for in config>servers?

I don't have any nzb's in my queue.
There are no warnings on the connection page.
I'm using Usenet-News with the following data:

nntps.us.Usenet-News.net:563 and
nntps.us.Usenet-News.net:80 as a backup

SABnzbd will only connect when it needs to download articles, add an nzb file to your queue and it should connect and start downloading.

Dead on help!  Thanks.

How do I automatically clean up behind the processes, wherein logs/cache/backup file locations all have leftover stuff in them?
