im fed up with unison not working with my indexer. I'm trying to install Sabnzb and am stuck in some hell loop that i can't work out.

OsX Yosemite

I have installed Sab, when i open it the first time it takes me to the local host 8080 page which is asking for a username and password. the main website and user manual says on first open i will be taken through a set up wizard but that isn't happening.

im competent enough to just get myself in trouble now, looking for the .ini file to change the password and username to nil, but i can't even find the file, even if it shows me where in the terminal.

im tapped out of ideas. can anyone help me in the most basic language?

This is weird, SABnzbd asking for a username/password.
Did you enter a username and password in the startup Wizard?

Stop SABnzbd (or reboot your system).
Anyway. Start Applications->Utilities->Terminal.
You'll get a white window.
Type this:
/Applications/SABnzbd.app/Contents/MacOS/SABnzbd --no-login
Press enter.
SABnzbd should start now.
Shut SABnzbd down.
After that the normal way of starting should work.

thanks shypike i will try that command in terminal,

the issue I'm having seems to stem from the fact that when i started SAB for the first time it went straight to the username password request. no wizard to set things up at all. I'm pretty useless, like i said, just competent enough to get in trouble, but even i can manage to follow a wizard through...
