Sab failing unable to open error

Hi All,
I've been using sab for about the past 8 months, and after a bit of mucking about and quick learning it has been going great up till about 4 weeks ago. All of a sudden nothing seems to be unpacking and i get this error with any and all downloads "exit(1) Unable to open URL: HTTP Error 401: basic auth failed" From what i can gather it looks like the downloads are still coming down but it just doesn't know what to do with it.... Now i haven't changed anything, no passwords or use accounts changed, everything is as it should be just one day stopped working.....
It's been a while since i've mucked about with this so i've forgotten most things. So feel free to treat me like a noob and see where we can get. Any and all help is much appreciated!

You mean that you cannot get into SABnzbd's web interface?
Is the SABnzbd icon still showing in the Windows system tray (right side of the task bar)?
If so, right-click on it and select Troubleshoot->Restart : no login

no sorry, i have no issues getting to the interface. Underneath each download (where errors pop up ie failed to unpack, retry? Or insufficient space etc) is where it pops up with the message about not being able open url etc

I'm not sure what you mean.
Can you email some screenshots to
bugs@sabnzbd.org ?
(Please add the URL of this post.)

I think "Unable to open URL is a mesage from SickBeard. Specifically:
Code: Select all
sander@haring:~/git/Sick-Beard$ grep -irn "Unable to open URL" *
autoProcessTV/autoProcessTV.py:151: print ("Unable to open URL: " + str(e))
So probably not a SABnzbd problem.

For all those playing at home, this is what it's doing. When i go to the folder that the files should be in there isn't anything there....

This is definitely an error message from the Sab2SickBeard script.
It cannot find the SickBeard client.
SABnzbd has done its work, but it cannot report to SickBeard.
Please refer to SickBeard documentation and/or forum.

Remote access, so it seems.
Does it work within your local network?

k, so i had a fiddle last night with the post processing. Put in my user name and password and now it seems to have settled itself. I haven't changed anything on it at all in 8 months yet all of a sudden decided it didn't like how it was set up. Even the "aw snap" error seems to not be happening now...... Thanks for your help!
