Hi Guys, I'm still getting save file errors on SABnzbd Version: 0.8.0Alpha2 and windows 7
I changed the "folder_max_length" to 20 and while it fixed some I still get the error on other jobs, like this one.
ERROR: Saving \\?\C:\Temp\SABnzbd\`Inside.Comedy.S02E0\__ADMIN__\"Inside.Comedy.S02E01.Louis.CK.nzb.gz failed

EDIT: just an update, I was able to get the 720p version. but this problem was across several files.

I have the same.. Seems a random occurrence, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't..
Also when deleting (failed) jobs, I get file errors.

Is the error message literally what you show here? Including the back-quote ` ?

yeah it is, I just tried a different one that I knew would error and it has the same

First of all, SABnzbd 0.8 can handle much longer paths on Windows,
so using the size limit should not be necessary any more.
Second, what is the source of the NZB? Direct download, from an RSS feed?
Which index site are you using?

Great, I put the size limit back to 128 and it's been fine. I haven't had anymore errors since going to 0.8 (and ignoring these particular files)
RSS feed through a few, nzbgeek and others. They all do the same.

I tried a direct download to see if there was any difference and the file is called "Inside.Comedy.S02E01.Louis.CK" no nzb extension
