So after my wife restarted my computer i tried to launch sabnzbd after restart and now I am getting this error:

"SABnzbd detected a fatal error:
"C:\Users\Craig\AppData\Local\sabnzbd\sabnzbd.ini" is not a valid configuration file
Error message: Invalid line at line "1".

Specify a correct file or delete this file.


Program did not start!"



I tried moving the .ini file to another location but it still does not work.

Please help me ASAP! I am leaving out of country in a few days fora very long time and I would like this to work again.

So i unistalled and reinstalled sabnzbd and it worked.

Hmm, a case of INI file corruption. Rare, but sometimes it happens.
In this case SABnzbd also could not fall back on its backup file.
When you removed SABnzbd, you also removed the "data", I assume?
That was the correct action in this case.

I'll have another look at INI corruption for the next major release.

I had the same problem, even after re-installations of SABnzbd

Solved:
OLD: C:\Users\"MyName"\AppData\Local\

New: C:\Users\"MyName"\AppData\Local\SABnzbd; and then installed SABNzbd again. (I didn't remove the previous installation)

sub-dir SABnzbd is a new entry, handmade.


For me, it is working.
