Problems Upgrading on Mac OS X

I have tried to upgrade SABnzbd on Mac OS X 10.7.5 to newest version. I can't get it to launch/start.
- I've checked the host in the ini, it's 127.0.0.1.
- removed the /Users/media/Library/Application Support/SABnzbd file completely and tried to start
- I tried changing it to :::1 per a tip I found on the forums, no luck.
- I've tried running /Applications/SABnzbd.app/Contents/MacOS/SABnzbd --server 127.0.0.1:8080 in the terminal
- I've restarted the computer
- I don't think it's starting at all - the log file at /Users/media/Library/Application Support/SABnzbd isn't updating
- mostly trying to start by double clicking on the app. I've tried to launch via terminal but am getting an error that says "Illegal instruction: 4"

Thoughts?

Version: SABnzbd-0.7.20-osx.dmg
OS: Mac OS X 10.7.5
Install-type: dmg installer
Skin: default
Firewall Software: None
Are you using IPV6? most likely no
Is the issue reproducible? yes

The Snow Leopard version is created on an old VMWare Fusion image running on a two year old iMac.
We cannot test it on real hardware, but SABnzbd works on that same image.
It seems it doesn't on your real hardware.
Which model Mac are you using?

I'm running a Mini, 2.3 GHZ i5.

Is there an older version of the app I should try? This was intended to just be an update. I replaced Sickbeard with Sickrage and was seeing some oddities.

It might be worth mentioning that, in the past, every time I've updated or had to re-isnstall it's been pretty painful, but it's always been related to the host setting in the config.ini file. This time I'm baffled.

How do I do a complete un-install and start from scratch? I know to delete the files from applications, application support, and run this at terminal

Code: Select all

rm -f ~/.sabnzbd
.

Anything else I need to do to get all parts of the app off of the system before doing a clean re-install?

The settings are in ~/Libary/Application Support/SABnzbd
Try 0.7.16
