Hi,

I am new on forum. I am from Germany and hope you all can understand me. My english is not the best in the world. ;D

I have a problem, better says, a friend has a big problem since a few weeks.

A good friend of mine use Linux Distribution, a long time Debian wheezy, and now since 1 or 2 weeks the new stable release Debian jessie. In jessie there is SABnzbd 0.7.18 and on my machine ( I used the last 2 years wheezy and SABnzbd 06.15) I have now since 3 weeks Debian jessie too. But I have no problems ever had, like my friend.

So, my friend open SABnzbd on the menu of Debian jessie Xfce Desktop Environment. SAB open with localhost and port 9090. It all works great, since a few days now. Now he has the problem he open it and SAB want open everytime another port. Why it do this now ? Is this a bug? I dont find anything about this. Is he the one and only that has this problem? >:(

He has no server, he use the Browser GUI and he stopped SAB everytime in the option and shut it down. But I have no idea why it has now this stupid problem.

I hope someone can help me. Thanks a lot to all.

Best regards
Jeyjey

SABnzbd looks for an alternative port when the normal port is occupied.
Check whether other programs use this port or whether another instance
of SABnzbd is still running.

Hi,

thank you very much. We have now delete the .sabnzbd folder in /home and start the wizard new. It looks like, that we must shutdown via options the sabnzbd, but I will watch it the next days.
