Hey all,
I've never had problems with password files before but after a fresh windows install, the password file doesn't seem to work.
The log reads the folder isn't read-only and sabnzbd is running as admin (which it shouldn't have to, but I tried it anyway)
any ideas?

Maybe a trivial question, but is the file actually at that location?
Even running as admin doesn't give you full rights all the time, but reading a file should be possible.
(Even as admin you may get UAC prompts.)

Okay found what caused the error. It's pretty stupid but the file was called paswords.txt.txt I didn't spot this earlier because of the folder options. Thanks for the assistance!

That's the problem with Windows hiding "known extensions" by default.
