Restricting RSS results to avoid multiple downloads

Hi,

I'm wondering if someone could help me limit RSS feed downloads. I have a TV show which is downloaded weekly, If I make the search anymore strict I don't get any results - at the moment though unfortunately there are 4-7 releases of the same episode a week and the RSS means Sab grabs and tries to download them all, so I have to manual stop if I even notice.

I can't find an option but is there a way I could possible tell it to only download the first result each week?

Have a little patience.
This month there will be a first test release of 0.8.0
The RSS module contains a new filter called "FROM" which sets a starting season/episode.

Ah very nice! Will that work with dates as well though? As the TV show i'm getting is weekly and dated, I have to get it via Sab RSS and its not in the TV database that SickBeard uses.

No, dates are not supported.
For something like that you would need to write your own pre-queue script.
Assuming you're a bit familiar with simple script writing.
