Have been running sab fine for ages on my mycloud but all of a sudden I have permission issues. Sab is running as a service therefore as root and folders and files it creates are owned by root and not accessible by anyone other than root. I have set permissions of 777 though that did not help.
I have chown -hR username:share /share/sabnzb/Complete.
After doing this anything I download using sab I can now see if it's downloaded as a folder however the folders appear empty. Though it still appears to be owned by root. Is there a way to force sab to write the files as a user and not root.

Re: Permissions issue
SABnzbd has handled permissions in the same way for ages.
Check with myCloud to see what changed on their side.
I'm afraid you have to look there for info on how to run a service under another account too.
