dots not being replaced with spaces

Hello,

I have my config setup with the option to A: detect duplicates, and B: replace dots with spaces. However on the indexer I use a heap of duplicates with slightly different labelled nzb's are posted which is causing unnecessary downloads.

Example:

nzb.S12E18.720p.HDTV.X264-DIMENSION - gets renamed to "nzb S12E18 720p HDTV x264-DIMENSION" - what I want
nzb S12E18.720p HDTV x264-DIMENSION - doesn't get renamed, the dot replacement gets skipped and I end up with duplicates, nothing in the logs saying dots replaced for these nzb's

It happens to all the filters in my rss feed, not just one

Is this a bug?

Dot-with-space replacement only works when there are no spaces present.
This to avoid replacement in titles like:
"The man from U.N.C.L.E"
The original titles use dots or underscores to avoid spaces.
It that case that option wants to support.
