Not working after OS update. Help!

Hey folks. I'm running sab on a mac mini. I just upgraded to Yosemite and nothing seems to be downloading...it's stuck at 30-50 B/s. Any ideas?
Isn't this just a post that's missing on the Usenet server?
Does the popup message (when you hover the mouse cursor over the title) say that there are many articles missing?
