Can I access the SABnzbd+ web interface via a computer over the internet? I can do it just fine via another PC on my network by putting my Mac's local IP address in the web server box, but I can't figure out how to access it over the net.
Cheers

But how will the remote PC I'm using knwo to connect to my Mac at home? I have my Mac's local IP address in the SABnzbd Web Server box, i.e. a generic one like 192.168.0.1. How on Earth would a PC I'm using miles and miles away know that it's got to connect to my Mac?

Your router knows your public IP address, but you probably have to use a service
like
www.no-ip.com to get a proper internet name for your home IP address.
Next you tell the router that it should route any traffic for port 8080 to
port 8080 on your Mac.
BTW: If you are not familiar with this subject, I would recommend against
opening up your router for external traffic.
It's quite risky if you don't know what you are doing.
Hackers might easily get into your home network.

You can try using various remote support services such as logmeinrescue, gosupportnow etc. in order to remotely access web interface over internet.
