Hi,

I have been using Sab for around 2 years now with no problems.

In the last month or so, I have been experiencing a problem with downloading, and I am not sure what is causing it.

Warnings appear in Sab stating that state there is a "disk error", and then downloading pauses. I have to manually resume it, which often results in the same error.

But other times it works fine.

I have tinkered with several settings, but nothing seems to make any difference.

The drive in question seems to be healthy, and I can create files at the location specified, with the same name that appears in the warning.

I am running version 0.7.20 on a 64-bit Windows Server 2008 R2 machine.

I don't remember making any changes to anything to trigger this issue, but I am also not sure exactly when it started.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Have you tried (temporarily) writing everything to C:\somewhere\ instead of D:\ ?

No, but it did cross my mind. I'll try it now and report back

Ok, the behaviour is the same using C: as the temporary drive unfortunately. The strange thing is, it doesn't happen with every download. It's fairly intermittent.

Weird. I see no strange paths or characters in "C:\Work\Portlandia.S02E04.720p.HDTV.x264-IMMERSE\portlandia.s02e04.720p.hdtv.x264-immerse.r01"

Could it be a virusscanner denying access? Can you temporarily turn off your virusscanner?

Hmm, that's a good suggestion, but that hasn't worked either unfortunately. This is strange.
