Failed NZB auto delete not working

so sabnzb has a feature that if it sees that articles may be missing it auto cancels the nzb..I have this option checked but its not working at all it just continues to try and download the nzb that I know is not going to work by seeing the dl speed at 2 kbs and the remaining time. any way to fix this????

For smaller downloads it may not notice it in time.
What you describe is not my experience when jobs above a few hundred MB are involved.
Especially not when they're completely missing.
I assume you don't have the "pre-download check" on?
