Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
Use Test Server in Config > Servers.
We will probably ask you to do a test using only basic settings. - Do you experience problems during repair or unpacking?

DL speed drops steadily from 13MB/s down to 320k/s
I just recently experience this problem downloading from Usenet using Sapnzbd. The download would start out at 13MB/s which is my usual speed (I have a 300 megabits connection) but then drops steadily over the course of a few minutes down to about 320k/sec. I have not changed any setting. What could possible cause this? My hard drive is defragged and running smoothly. I checked my Usenet account and it is unlimited so there shouldn't be any bandwidth limitation.

Two more possibilities:
* your ISP rr.com / roadrunner / Time Warner is throttling your Usenet. Check: if your Usenet speed is low, during a SAB download do a parallel test on speedtest.net ... if the speedtest result is high, it's usenet throttling.
* if you're using wireless, it might be your wireless connections. Check: use a wired connection.
