I'm getting 80% bad downloads, lately.

I'm finding over the past 2-3 months that the majority of downloads are unable to be "repaired due to not enough repair blocks."
My downloads are often those that have been up for a while, even 12 months, but even those showing only a few days are also being unsuccessful.
I don't think I'm doing anything differently but wonder if it's able to be improved somehow.
My internet provider still supports Usenet but not openly, if you know how to include it then it works, or did. Could it be something to do with their Usenet server beginning to get doddery due to it's low priority.
I don't know what else to include so please be patient and ask away.
