Codec Problem

Hi everyone im having a problem when i download a movie via couch potato and it downloads to sab and when i open the movie from plex or on the pc using vlc it gives me an error or just doesnt do anything and i understand that in the directory of the movie there is an txt that say install codec if it doesnt work. i install and restart pc and nothing happens. someone tells me to install tsunami codec pack i install/restart and the movie still doesnt work. Please help

Almost always those "install codec if it doesn't work" things are fake movies with a virus in the alleged "codec". You should run a virus scan or if you're on Windows do a System Restore to before you installed it.

That's certainly a fake, and probably a virus. Activate "Unwanted Extensions" in SAB (via Config -> Swithes), and fill out with "Pause" resp "exe" to avoid such downloads
