Earlier today, I added a backup server for the first time. Later, I noticed it was downloading 4 queue items at the same time. It has always only done one at a time and I prefer that behavior. Then I noticed the backup server already had several gigs downloaded from it. Throughout the day, it has continued downloading 2 to 5 items at a time, and the counter of the backup server is growing at a similar rate as the main server. I have "backup server" checked in the options. I've restarted several times, and upgraded to the newest version. I'm running on OSX Snow Leopard. Any ideas?

I don't know if this helps or not, but if File1 isn't available on your primary then it will start to download from your backup, and while that's happening SABnzbd will check to see if File2 is available on your primary, and if it's free it will start downloading simultaneously. That's been my experience anyway.
