Cheapnews timing out on SABnzbd (SSL, port: 563)

Hello everybody,
I am currently experiencing some issues with Cheapnews using SABnzbd. The problem is pretty strange and I hope that I can get some help.
I am using both Cheapnews and SSL News and both providers seemed to work just fine with SABnzbd on Windows 8.
I use both providers with SSL on port 563. SSL News works just fine, Cheapnews cannot connect to the server anymore, showing error 10061 (time out). So, the same port seems to be working for SSL News, but not for Cheapnews. I try to connect to block.cheapnews.eu.
What's really strange:
I have installed GrabIt and HelloNZB and in both of these newsgrabbers, Cheapnews worked just fine using the same connection details. So it does not seem to be a general issue with Cheapnews, but with combining Cheapnews and SABnzbd.
I have installed SABnzbd on a second laptop (Windows 7) and could reproduce the error. Also on my second laptop, SSL News works and Cheapnews doesn't, both using port 563 SSL.
Does anybody have any idea what could be the issue?
Thank you in advance!
