RSS History not working

I cannot get the RSS History to work. 
I've tried the following link:
http://192.168.1.16:8080/sabnzbd/rss?mode=history
on three different machines: the source PC, another PC on the LAN and an XBOX/xbmc setup.
The odd thing (to me) is that on the two PC's (IE6), I don't get "page cannot be displayed" or anything.  It's just that nothing happens when I put the link in the "Address" field.

After I set up a Username and Password, I used the following link with the same scenario as above:
http://192.168.1.16:8080/sabnzbd/rss?ma ... de=history

(note: I'm not mr taco.  I'm just using that username and password as an example).

As a data point: I can remotely administer my SABNZB session from any computer on my network.

As a workaround, I have an email notification going to a gmail account and that gmail account being read by mail2feed and that producing an rss link that works without issue.  But, there are too many points of failure in that method for me to be happy.

I tried both methods per http://sabnzbd.wikidot.com/tips
Neither worked.

I just tried http://192.168.1.16:8080/sabnzbd/rss?mo ... rd=tacospw
and it worked like a charm!!  Does http://sabnzbd.wikidot.com/tips need to be updated to have history before the authentication info or is there just something about my setup that caused this to be required.
