Hi experts,
I recently installed sabnzbd plus on my HDA machine (home server). I was trying to change temp and complete download folder to another one. But everytime after I changed and saved it, sabnzbd automatically reset them to default folder. I saw one statement saying

You may use absolute path to save outside of default folder

I'm wondering how to realize it. Thanks.

The path should exist at the time SABnzbd starts.
This may be troublesome for external drives.

You're right. My challenge is change path to external drive. Any way to make it to external hard drive? Or it's already a known unachievable? Thanks

There is an option in Config->Special, called wait_ext_drive.
Set this to 1.
However, be careful. This will make SABnzbd to hang until the external
drive is available.

I tried but still can't be able to change to external hard drive.

What is the path that you enter in the "Temporary Download folder" box?

the temp path which I tried to change is /var/hda/files/drive/ehd1/newsgroups/incomplete

You are sure that this path exists and is writable for SABnzbd?

The path is correct but just found permission was not authorized to my user groups. I changed the permission so now it's working. Thanks shypike and please close the thread.
