Windows 8 does not give access to SABNZBD directory [synolog

I have been using SABNZBD for the past two years without any problems. I am using it on my synology NAS.
The directory for SABNZBD is: /volume1/public/sabnzbd/downloads/ and I have an "imcomplete", "nzb" and "complete" folder in that directory. In SABNZBD I have set the access rights for the completed downloads to "777". In Synology Diskstation I have given Read/Write rights to the "Public" folder. And when using File Station directly on the NAS I have no problems to get access to the folder.
However, two days ago, for some reason Windows will not give me access to the SABNZBD folder. I can get access to the "public" folder, but the moment I click on the SABNZBD folder I get the message: "No access to \\...\public\sabnzbd. Contact your adminstrator to get access."
I do not understand what has been changed and how I can regain access - anybody any ideas?
