Using Gingadaddy and Newsleecher and sabnzbd

So I've been using gingadaddy and newsleecher, and manually downloading NZB's. Newsleecher has a new feature thats automated, but doesnt seem to work well since a lot of usenets are getting things that are posted with different names.

That being said, I'd like to use sabnzbd to automatically grab NZB's from gingadaddy and download them. Now I think this is doable (from reading the how-to) but Im not sure Im doing it right?

I've generated RSS keys, added it to sab, and read it, I've even added filters and downloaded something manually. My question is this I guess, what is the process to get this to download automatically? From my understanding, its just reading the feeds every X minutes, but is it going to actually download what it finds? Also, is there a duplicate check? Meaning if it already has the folder, will it not download it?

Each RSS feed that you tick off on the RSS overview page, is read automatically.
The interval can be set on the same page, don't overdo it: indexers don't like that.
Be aware that when you define a new feed, the first batch of matches is not automatically downloaded.
Each automatic readout will download any new matching entries.
