Unpacking failed, write error or disk is full?

Post by sebjavierw »

Hi
Over the past week or so large files (8GB) have tried to unpack after downloading but I get the error 'Unpacking failed, write error or disk is full?'
It doesn't happen with every file only intermittently.

When I find the downloaded files it only has the .rar01, .rar02 etc.
I cannot find the .par or .r01, .r02 files.

Has anyone else had this issue or knows how to fix it?
Any help is appreciated
Thankyou

If the download report says that the job verified correctly, then SABnzbd has removed the par2 files.
Lately some foolish (or devious) posters have posted material where the rar naming convention
has not been properly used. They renamed RAR files after generating them.
This means that unrar is still looking for the original names.
You may have success by manually renaming some files and running WinRAR.

Thanks for the response.
Is there anyway I can stop SABnzbd from removing the par2 files?

Yes, there's an option for that in Config->Switches.
You can disable "Enable Par cleanup".
