Can someone explain Usenet and Sabnzbd!

Hey everyone, here is my current setup

Raspberry Pi running Raspbmc OS
Running couchpotato, sickbeard, transmission.

Right now I have transmission as downloader for couchpotato and sickbeard.
Works great, sickbeard will post process and move from /media/HDD/sickbeard/autoProcessTv
To my /media/HDD/Downloads/TV Shows folder where it updates and shows up on my xbmc.
Same goes to couchpotato but now it goes to the movies folder after post process.

Now I read I to Sabnzbd and even paid for $10 one month through UseNetServer. I also installed Sabnzbd on my Pi and
Am stuck on how to setup the new post process options in both sickbeard and couchpotato...and within Sabnzbd itself!

I'm just confused to what this $10 usenet is even good for. The downloads are as fast or slower than downloading through transmission, sometimes sickbeard can't even find a show I want with Sabnzbd. Am I missing something? What's the benefits of this program and usenet vs transmission and pirate bay? Is it just speed an security cause I don't see either. I'm just very confused and haven't found one legit article explaining usenet other than a news reader. Not trying to read news here. Thanks!!
