Hi,
I want to access newsgroups -- alt.binaries.nospam
type of newsgroups. I was able to access then with my PCs but not sure how to do it with an Imac running OSX version 10.6.8 will sabnzbd allow me to access those newsgroups if not what free program can I use.

Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.

Access to news groups is determined by your Usenet provider.
SABnzbd doesn't give direct access to news groups.
It depends fully on NZB files created by Usenet indexing sites
(Examples: http://wiki.sabnzbd.org/nzb-sources )
