Downloading Issues

So recently I started using SAB and was doing fantastic for a couple weeks. Then I stumbled across Sick Beard and was amazed. That was also going smoothly. Now as of late everything is quite the opposite.

I have set everything to my specifications and also to the guides and advice from other sources.

The issues I am having is that I am now getting 0kb/s downloads unless I begin to mess with with and go back and forth between config options and such and then it begins downloading but only momentarily as it fluctuates massively and eventually diminishes to a halt in downloading. This is an obvious issue as I am not able to hang around my computer 24/7. Also SAB seems to be sluggish and slow as of late as well.

I am wondering if this is caused from a large queue perhaps?

I have also seen a timeout error in the STATUS section as well.

Any help on how to remedy the situation would be greatly appreciated.

How large is your queue?
On memory-constrained embedded systems it's known to be an issue.

Its a large amount now that I have added a few shows to sick beard. I dont know the exact amount.

Is that going to cause issues with downloading as well?

Like I said: it may with low memory systems.
On which kind of hardware do you run things?

I am running windows:
7 ultimate 64 bit
4 gbs ram
Amd athalon 64 x2 4800+ 2.5ghz
nvidia 9800 gt GPU

That's more than sufficient hardware.
