Hello,
I use SABnzbd 0.46 and have a question about network folders.
My problem is: i want to extract my downloads to a network folder instead of the complete folder. I' m using Mac OS X and i am a complete mac newbie. What do i have to type into the "Completed Download Folder" field?
I' ve already tried \\name-of-network-server\folder\subfolder
and /name-of-network-server/folder/subfolder
I even created a alias of the network folder in my home folder. But all this didn't work.
Any Mac expets that can help me with my problem?

Re: network folder with os x
Be aware that if for some reason the network volume isn't mounted on the Mac, and sabnzbd goes to write to that network volume, it will actually create a folder with the volume name in /Volumes and stick it in there (it's not a sabnzbd bug, it's how OS X deals with Unix pathnames). I had a network hiccup one time, and I couldn't find where my files went to, and it turned out they were in a folder in /Volumes.
Just a handy tip, in case you ever 'lose' some files that were downloaded successfully.

Re: network folder with os x
I have the excact same problem - all my downloads needs to be stored on my NAS witch is attached to the OS X by name 'DiskStation'. I then tried to set the completed url to '/Volumes/DiskStation/download' but nothing appears in that folder upen completion, and i cannot find a folder anywhere on the system named "Volumes" - what am i missing?
PS: I am a ery big mac n00b, so bare with me if i am missing the obivous.

Re: network folder with os x
Volumes is a hidden folder. You can access it by opening Finder and SHIFT-COMMAND-G and entering /Volumes
Hope you'll find your files.

Thx - found them :-) That then brings me to my other question; what am i doing wrong since it does not save it on the nas named Diskstation?rAf wrote: Volumes is a hidden folder. You can access it by opening Finder and SHIFT-COMMAND-G and entering /Volumes

Re: network folder with os x
I think that you Nas was not attached when you started SABnzbd...
- Unmount you Nas
- Delete the directory in /Volumes/Diskstation if it exists
- Mount your NAS and launch SABnzbd
It should work but I don't recommend to download directly on Nas.
