cannot connect using sabmobile

Greetings,
This is my first post and I'm having a weird problem. It started a week ago. I can connect to sabnzbd from sabmobile if I am not on my local internet, but I can't from within my WiFi network. I have a static IP and all of the correct ports forwarded. I can set up another server within sabmobile and put the local IP address in and it will connect just fine. I have accepted it as a trusted app in windows firewall and allowed all incoming and outgoing traffic. Any ideas?

So you have filled out your public IP address in SABmobile, and that works when you're on the 'real Internet', but not when you're on your own LAN?

If so: yes, known problem with a lot of routers. Your router needs to have some kind of "U-turn"-feature (don't know the official name): it has to u-turn traffic from your LAN destined for the public IP address back into your LAN (to your SABnzbd server). And a lot of routers can't / don't do that.

Workaround: use 3G on your phone.
