Download limit - Behaviour of program

Post by jethro10 »

I see a few folk asking for a feature to track and limit downloads as a lot of servers have a limit of download, eg 3Gb per day or 30Gb per month.

My question relates to this but the other way round.
What happens if i'm in the middle of a download on an overnight schedule, lets say, and my daily limit expires and the newsgroup server stop serving me for 24 hours
How does Sabnzbd handle this.
Will it constantly re-try, anoying the provider, or does it re-try now and then or what?

Thanks
J

It will retry until the server delivers the goods (or a backup server does).
As news servers are simple-minded beasts, they probably won't be annoyed.
