Post processing RSS-downloads.

Hi,

I have been using the combination of Sickbeard and Sabnzbd on my Nas for quite a while without problems, but just recently started to set up some RSS-downloads in Sab, for the content that Sick does not support (sports).

I have everything set up with categories in Sab, making sure that everything is send to the proper folders, however I was wondering if anyone could tell me what to do, to have the new Rss-downloads post processed?

Everything from both Sab and Sick is being downloaded to the same folder, before before being send to the proper folders, but the post processing of Sick is not reacting to the Rss-downloads from Sab. I was therefore wondering if I have to set up Sab to post process the Rss-downloads, and if this even be possible when everything is downloaded to the same root-folder, before being moved?

Any help would be appreciated – thanks.

Is the SickBeard script enabled for items coming from RSS feeds?

I am sorry, but I don't know what script you are referring to :(

Most people combine SABnzbd and SickBeard by having
SABnzbd run a special script at the end of each job.
SickBeard will be triggered by this script.
Alternatively SickBeard will monitor a specific folder for new items.
Do completed RSS items land in the same folder as other downloads?

I searched around after reading your first post, and remembered that I once had Sab set up with the SabtoSickbeard.py script, found it again and tried it out. I seems to be working(ish), and though it did give me a "Processing failed", that seems to be because, the show it tried to run the script on, simply doesn't exist in some of the databases in uses to rename files.

And yes, both Sick and RSS-downloads are downloaded to "/xxx/Video/Sickbeard/Complete" before being postprocessed - is that a problem?

Thanks for the help btw. :)

The best result comes from using the script.
The script has its own setup file, which is a bit of a challenge for some users.
Refer to the SickBeard documentation for further info.
I'm not a SickBeard specialist.
