So first time poster long time lurker, I have a unique situation here that is stumping me so I am reaching out for any advise!

Firstly I love this program and thanks to those who make it amazing!

Second is my issue here one that is very strange what is happening is that when a download finishes it completes just fine and the post processing runs and completes as well. What happens then is my XBMC device does not see the new content in the library, neither does a computer connected on the same LAN via UNC. However when I browse to the folder where the script put it I can see the file on the computer that SAB is installed on. Next is where things get even stranger, if I do a simple copy/paste in the exact same folder my XBMC client and computer connected via UNC both then see the COPY file. I have tried just renaming the original file to see what happens then but that does not help... Any idea? I have no errors in my logs as everything runs as expected....

You didn't tell on which operating system SABnzbd runs.
Check access rights.
SABnzbd can set access rights for you (see Config->Folders), at least for Unix and OSX systems,
on Windows you'll have to setup proper access right for the base folder
which will be automatically inherited by new folders.

Thanks for the reply, I believe I resolved this issue. I was using Windows 7 and what I think happened was my network connection "label" was set to nothing. When you connect to a new network it normally asks you if this is a "Home" "Work" or "Public" Connection. Apparently I did not select any of those so my "Share" was not updating permissions. I went back and removed my computer from the "Homegroup" and then re-added it, this time I selected "Home Network" and after that everything worked as it should!!

Thanks!
