I got an upgrade to my internet speed, so from 1 Mbit connection, I switched to 10 Mbit, quite good change for me. I am using sabnzbd on rasperrypi, which was working great with 1 mbit connection, topping to 120 kb/sec download speeds.
After I got an speed upgrade, I can't have a stable speed connection, my max speed goes to 400 kb/sec (instead of 1.1 Mb/sec) then drops to 100 s, then goes back to 360 kb/sec , so it's not stable. And I started to get high amount of load on rasp pi, like 6 or 7 .
I tried sab+ on windows desktop and it easily goes up to 1.1 Mb/sec and maxes out my connection speed which is quite good. But the point I can't really understand is, why I can't get same speed on rasp pi device? Is it because of high load issues on rasp pi, or is there another cause for this issue?

Re: Download speed problem [Raspi]
Yes, the Raspi's CPU (and RAM) is the bottleneck.
Re: Download speed problem [Raspi]
so is there a way to optimize sab+ for rasp? When I check from some mobile app via sab+ api, I can see speeds up to 810 kb/sec but that's not for forever also.
Re: Download speed problem [Raspi]
My usual saying: if you need high download speeds on low-spec hardware (low CPU and/or low RAM), you might be better off with nzbget instead of sabnzbd. NZBget offers less functionality, so you have to decide for yourself.
